Abstract

Three manuscripts are presented describing the rare earth element (REE) concentrations and behavior in terrestrial waters. These studies suggest that the pH, rock geochemistry, and the formation of stable REE complexes control for the REE concentrations and normalized REE patterns observed in the water bodies under investigation.
