The ability to attract consumers is crucial to the well being of local communities and is an indicator of the performance of a community's economy. This Trade Area Analysis (TAA) of Washoe County uses Trade Area Capture and Pull Factors estimates to analyze the local economy and its areas of strength and weakness, as they relate to the retail and service sectors. How these estimates change over time and in relation to other counties in the state are also analyzed to determine potential opportunities and threats to the local Washoe County economy.
