Abstract
Data suggests that approximately 30 percent of the base flow in the Truckee River was derived from surface water tributary contribution and 70 percent was groundwater contribution between Tahoe City and Truckee, California. Water chemistry data shows an increase in concentrations of all major anions, and cations during base flow conditions.
