Abstract
Chaotic Creations is a Windows application designed for use by players of the fifth edition of the tabletop roleplaying game Dungeons and Dragons. The goal of the application is to allow users to generate non-player characters, locations, and encounters whenever needed. This functionality will be most useful to the Dungeon Master, the person in charge of running the game. Dungeon Masters spend many hours outside of regular play time preparing for each game session and must improvise when the players do something unexpected during the session. Chaotic Creations will ease the burden of the Dungeon Master by allowing him to spend less time preparing for a session and reducing the stress of creating game elements on the spot. The application focuses on simplicity and ease of use to not slow down gameplay if used during a session.
