Abstract

The geology and mineralization of the Willard Mining District, located in Pershing County, Nevada, have been studied. Soil and rock chip sampling have defined two gold-arsenic anomalies. Gold and silver of the district are of hydrothermal origin and occur in silicified areas of fracture zones.
