Abstract
Virtual reality is a relatively new field with massive recreational, educational, and professional potential. Team 7 is interested in expanding the recreational scope of virtual reality. Currently, virtual reality in group settings is limited by hardware accessibility, forcing scenarios where only one player is currently engaged or an abundance of hardware is required. Team 7 wants to solve this accessibility problem by creating a multiplayer virtual reality game that involves multiple players at once with a single headset. This will be accomplished by creating a networking framework to allow for mobile devices such as phones and tablets to connect to the headset player's game. Using the Unity engine, Team 7 will use this framework to develop at least one multiplayer game to demonstrate the market potential of including many people in the same virtual reality experience.
