Sulfide capacities have been calculated in a self-consistent manner for slag compositions ranging from the pure basic oxide to acidic oxide melts for the systems Na2O-SiO2 , FeO-CaO-SiO2 , and MgO-CaO-SiO2 as a function of temperature.
