Abstract
Four uranium deposits in the basal, carbonaceous zones of certain ash-flow tuffs of the Hartford Hill Rhyolite have been studied. Results indicate the uranium may have been leached, transported by groundwater, and concentrated in areas of organic debris. A conceptual model of the typical infiltration uranium deposit is presented and variations in the basic model are discussed.
