Abstract

Steady state ground water transport of nondispersive contaminants in a homogeneous aquifer is simulated by a kinematic numerical model. The model simulates the transport of contaminants with the use of flow lines and isochron maps. Out output includes a piezometric surface of the study area and contaminant concentration/time distributions at pumping wells. Aquifers may have constant or varying anisotropy, and may be bounded by impermeable and/or equal head boundaries.
