Abstract

Suspended sediment and bedload were measured for fifteen small watersheds on the east side of the Sierra Nevada, during the 1978 snowmelt period. Empirical equations were developed to predict suspended sediment, bedload, and total sediment. Additionally, an equation was developed to explain the suspended sediment to total sediment ratio.
