Abstract
For the ease of the client and to increase emergency vehicle access to the lower portion of the Lake Tahoe basin, GeoWolf Engineering presents the plans to build a mechanically stabilized earth wall that will support a vehicle lift system as seen in professional garages. By building a 20 foot high retaining wall, the slope will be decreased. After the wall is built, it will be important to finish the surfaces for the client. This includes a paved, asphalt road down to the house. The finished surface will also complete the hydrology requirements of the Lake Tahoe watershed. To complete these design tasks, GeoWolf Engineering will present the client with a complete design report, a set of Autocad construction plans, and a cost estimation including specific material quantities. The final project is estimated to cost $144,000.
