Abstract
The NeoCortical Simulator (NCS) is a useful tool for understanding the many processes in the brain. However, NCS is difficult and time consuming to use for neuroscientists because it involves programming the model inputs and parsing the raw data outputs for each simulation. The NeoCortical Repository and Reports (NCR) project aims to solve both of these problems by creating two tabs, model database and reports, for a web based NCS application. The model database tab will provide useful functionality in order to eliminate the need for programming model inputs through the hosting of a brain model database complete with search filters. The reports tab will save time by using the streaming data to populate helpful graphs that can be used for analyzing the results.Overall, the NCR project aims to create an intuitive interface for the simulator andtherefore create more opportunities to better the field of computational neuroscienceresearch.
