Abstract

The stratigraphy and structure of the Sou Hills of Pershing County, Nevada, have been studied. Upper Triassic sedimentary rocks of the Winnemucca Formation are the oldest rocks exposed in the area and are intruded by a hornblende diorite dike of probable mid-Jurassic age.
