Abstract

The effect of particle size and shape was studied in the quartz and n-dodecylamine flotation system through the use of sized quartz and glass beads. In addition, the degree of flocculation of the floated material is compared using Gaudln-Schumann plots. It is shown that flotation and flocculation can be functions of size, shape, pH, and collector concentration.
