Abstract
The stratigraphy, petrology, and paleomagnetics of the Moss Flat area of Lake County, Oregon, have been studied. The area consists of a Miocene ash-flow tuff sequence which has been correlated to the Upper Cedarville Series of northeastern California. A rhombic pattern of steeply dipping fractures characterizes the region.
