Abstract

The stratigraphy, structure, geophysics, and water chemistry of the Jersey Valley area have been studied. Photogeologic interpretation indicate faults forming grabens within Jersey Valley. Maximum subsurface temperature is 178 degrees Celsius for waters of Jersey hot spring. Gravity surveys indicate thinner alluvium in Jersey Valley than in Dixie Valley.
